Health and Welfare

IBEW Local 300 offers a comprehensive Health and Welfare Plan to our participating members and employers. The Plan includes health, dental, vision, life, and short term disability insurance.

 

The Fund is administered and maintained by a joint Board of Trustees consisting of 3 Union Trustees and 3 Employer Trustees. The Board of Trustees is governed by the Trust Agreement established and maintained in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

The Fund Office currently handles the day to day administration of the benefits under this plan, including your medical and hospitalization benefits, on behalf of the trustees. The benefits under this plan are self-insured by the Fund.

Amwell - Telemedicine app: Due to a partnership with BCBSVT, our members can download and use the Amwell app for $39 per visit. Talk to a doctor face to face over video, receive medical advice and prescriptions without needing to go to the doctor's office or urgent care center. Check it out here
